Coast Guard Ensign Harry W. Caulsen II, 24, son of Harry W. Caulsen, secretary to the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, died Friday at Bethesda Naval Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born in Washington D.C. and was a graduate of Wakefield High School.  He joined the Coast Guard last year after graduating from Florida's Miami University, and had been serving on the Cutter Diligence out of the Key West Coast Guard Station.  His address here was 800 4th Street SW.  His father is his only survivor.

Caulsen.  Friends are invited to call at the Bethesda Chevy Chase Funeral Home of Robert A. Pumphrey, Bethesda, Maryland, on Sunday December 4, 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday December 5, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Services Tuesday, December 6 at 11 a.m. at Fort Myer Chapel, Fort Myer, Virginia.  Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
