Carole Louise Thomas Williams passed away September 23, 1990 in Harris County, Texas. Her Death Notice appeared in the Houston Chronical, September 26,1990.  Her cremains are entombed in Columbarium II on the east side of Columbia Gardens in Arlington, Virginia.

Kay Carns Micalizio wrote to Rich Lyons and said:
I probably was the last person of our class to speak to Carole Thomas.  She died in Texas of cancer, her last name was Williams, and had one son.  I think her husband's name was Roger and he was in the military (Army?).  She is buried in Virginia, but I don't know exactly where. I'll try and locate that information.

E-mail from Carole's son Hunter Williams (Sept 6, 2012):

I would like to give an update for Carole Thomas 1960.  I was just curious and did a goggle search on my mother and your web site came up.   THANK YOU!!! for doing what you do for your alumni.

She passed away at M.D. Anderson Hospital, of breast cancer, at age 48.

Carole married John R. Williams (Roger) from GW High School (TC Williams now) and moved to Texas.  Roger graduated from Texas A&M and Carole was one of the first women to attend classes there.  Roger Williams was in the U.S. Marine Corps and was in Vietnam in 68-69 with two purple hearts.  He retired as a Captain.  Roger died of cancer 4 years ago.

She had one son: Ian Hunter Williams (1963)
Two grandson's: Cole Rogers Williams and Cooper Kent Williams

We all live in Kyle Texas outside of Austin.

Thank you again for what you do.
