Deceased Name: Helen Fenton- Harrisonburg, Va.

Service for Helen E. Fenton, 89, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Bethel Chapel of Sunnyside Retirement Community.  Lindsey Funeral Homes in Harrisonburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Fenton, who was born in Palouse, Washington, died Tuesday.

Mrs. Fenton was a graduate of Washington State University and later received a master's degree from George Washington University.  She taught French at Cle Elum (Washington) High School and later taught English and Latin at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia.

She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa scholastic honorary, the P.E.O., and the Bunker Hill (West Virginia) Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd; a daughter, Joan Pine of Chicago; a son, Jerry Fenton of St. Paul, Minnesota; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church in Bunker Hill, the Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community in Harrisonburg or the First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg.
